The "Send P&J to New York" read/sing through was a complete success!  Many thanks to all who came out to see the behind the scenes look at the making of a musical.  Overall we were able to raise $1500 towards P&J the Sandwich Musical going to the New York Musical Theatre Festival 2008 .  It's truly a great start.  Thanks again to the courageous cast and creative team, Karen Coughlin, Amber Cunningham, Jim Doucette, Rick Kish, Marcia Tratt and Andrew Petrasiunas.  We had a very short rehearsal process but we entertained with much gusto!  The response to the fact that it wasn't a straight forward reading was overwhelmingly positive.  Many people were excited to learn of the problems and issues encountered by a musical theatre writer during the development process of a show.  It was compared to the special features on a DVD.  It was great fun and truly exhilerating to expose the rawest form of the show as it continues it's journey to the New York Musical Theatre Festival.
